Home Paradox   家園悖論

In ancient times, aliens came to Earth in search of a habitable place. They found Earth to be an ideal home and decided to settle here. Over generations, and with changes in climate and environment, they gradually turned into people who looked exactly the same during the evolution process. This transformation left them confused, as it brought many inconveniences to their daily lives and work.

Although they had different names and identities, it became increasingly difficult to distinguish one another, as if they were living in a world of mirrors where everyone around them looked like themselves. They began to resemble replicants, gradually losing their sense of individuality. This led them to question whether Earth was truly their final destination. Despite these concerns, their lives remained generally comfortable.

Recently, they discovered another planet, believed to be even more habitable than Earth, and the climate there should not cause their descendants to look exactly the same over the course of evolution. However, relocating there would require them to sacrifice half of their population for various reasons. To go or to stay? This put them in a dilemma.
